Nederlands: De ‘Close Encounters’ uitbreiding verandert 32+ kartonnen staanders en tokens uit het basisspel van ISS Vanguard in een plastic miniatuur op tafel. Elke ontmoeting van schepen, missie-uitrusting (buitenpost) tot buitenaardse wezens zal zichtbaar worden in 3D. Ze vergroten het meeslepende aspect van het spel en zijn puur esthetisch van aard. Ze hebben op geen enkele manier invloed op de mechanica van het spel en breiden ze ook niet uit.

LET OP: U heeft het basisspel nodig om deze uitbreiding te kunnen spelen.

English: The ‘Close Encounters’ turns 32+ cardboard standees and tokens from the base game of ISS Vanguard into a plastic miniature on the table. Every encounter from ships, mission equipment (i.e. outpost) to aliens will come visible in 3D. They increase the immersive aspect of the game and are purely of aesthetic nature. They do not in any way influence the mechanics of the game nor it expands them.
